The process of this therapy is the same as the vamana.
Basti: Basti name comes from sanskrit which refers to urinary bladder. This therapy is specially effective for Vata dosha’s. It removes the bad toxins from the colon. The colon helps the body to absorb nutrients. The ideal time to take Basti therapy is in the morning which means it is done between 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. When the digestion is not too active, the herbs are better absorbed through the colon.
Nasya : It is clear from the name that Nasya therapy is done for the nasal . As we know the nose is directly linked to the head, so this therapy is very effective for the head, nose, ear, throat, etc. This therapy gives relieves to headache and migraine, improves eye, ear and hair health, etc. The ideal time of practising this therapy is before taking a meal which means early in morning when the stomach is totally empty.
Raktamokshana : The term Raktamokshana comes from two words “Rakta” and “Mokshana”. Rakta refers to blood and mokshana refers to liberation. which means cleansing the blood of impurities. It removes the impure blood to treat skin and blood-related disorders. The impurity in blood raises many skin related problems and whole body illness. It is especially used in conditions where Pitta dosha and toxins accumulate in the blood, leading to skin disorders, inflammation, infections, and more. There are two main working types of Raktamokshana:
